Carla fulfilled a lifelong career goal when she launched CAF Law Group. For many years, Carla had served as a partner at large law firms, where she was the national practice leader for the Labor & Employment and OSHA groups. Her practice focuses on defending employers against a variety of workplace and labor law claims, and she has unparalleled experience in successfully handling single and multiple plaintiff claims, traditional labor matters and workplace resolution to avoid litigation if possible.
The diversity of her practice includes handling claims and cases in state and federal courts, before administrative agencies and government tribunals, spanning an array of subject matter area such as state wage and federal labor laws, claims under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”), as well as the unending pursuit of claims related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation and/or failure of accommodation by people claiming unfair treatment because of their protected category and/or status as a whistleblower.
She gained most of her early knowledge and experience in the courtroom, where she has successfully tried dozens of cases to verdict. With the evolving and high-stakes pursuit of employment claims, particularly those brought as class or collective actions on behalf of an entire workforce or group of employees, Carla and her long-standing team are equipped to respond no matter what issue arises.
